LUPTS bus tour reunion weekends
  1992-2008

Since the demise of the society in 1991, and fulfilling the wish of the LUPTS President at the last Annual General Meeting on 2 May 1991 that such events continue into the future, reunion weekends have taken place over the Mayday Bank Holiday Weekend ever since.   From just being a Saturday bus tour, the gathering has grown to include events from Friday lunchtime until the Sunday afternoon.   As far as can be remembered (the detail of some facts have been lost in an alcoholic haze over the years) the table below gives details of where we've been and what we've done.

Full reports and photographic records of the events since 2001 appear elsewhere on this site - select the link from the table below.   Other years will be added as time and resources permit.   Paul Hollinghurst has made his photographs taken on bus tour weekends available online - click here

In addition to the annual event, a Big Reunion took place over the weekend of 5/6 October 2002 (pictured right) - click here for a report.

A similar event is planned for the weekend of 4/5 October 2008 to celebrate LUPTS Golden Jubilee - click here for details.
